This walnut rocking chair most closely resembles the original Grant Rocker designed in 1979 and sold all over the mid-Atlantic region for decades. The original Grant Rocker had two options for a head piece style. The bowtie style shown here was the second of those options. The bowtie style head piece lends a somewhat classic look to the rocker while helping the chair retain it's unique styling and is the only original style currently offered by Mountain Air Woodworks.
